Description

 

CMC Professor Paul McCudden will teach basic astronomy as the sun sets and stars rise in the summer night sky. Our naturalist will teach about things that can be seen with the naked eye and have a telescope hooked up to a screen for zooming in on specail sights! This stargazing event will be a magical evening outdoors. This is a free, family-focused event, but all ages are welcome!


 

PLEASE NOTE:

Each family will have their own space, bring camp chairs or blankets if you'd like. There will be standard folding chairs on site.

PLEASE BRING A  FACE MASK- you will need it to check in, but once you are in your family space you may remove masks to enjoy the program 

 


Important details:

  • Location: Legacy Ranch 35435 Highway 40
  • Meeting Time: Arrive by 7:45, program starts at 8PM goes until 10PM
  • Cost: FREE
  • What to wear: Dress for the weather (current and future) and dress in layers! Bring something to keep you warm as the sun goes down and there could be mosquitos!
