Join us for a hike with a Yampatika naturist who worked first hand as a Wildland firefighter for the US Forest Service in Northern California. Many already know fire is natural, but what has happened to make wildland fire become regular headline news? Learn about the fascinating history of fire suppression, the current world of containing fires and what can be done to restore a more natural role of fire to our ecosystems.
Meeting time: 830 AM, we will return to our vehicles by 1 PM
Destination: Colton Creek Trail- from the clark store we will caravan out to the trailhead, parking is free
