Summary

A moderately strenuous tour for ages 16+ . The trail to the mine is about 1.5 miles mostly uphill (one way). The beginning is a long steady climb (we stop lots to rest and learn along the way). There are fantastic views of Fish Creek Canyon and Yampa Valley after the initial climb. Later, there are views of the north fork canyon of Fish Creek. The group may eventually make it to an old Uranium Mine, which is the furthest our groups go.
