AGES 16+
Before we begin the hike, our first historical expert from Tread of Pioneers Museum will share a brief history of the former Mad Creek Guest Ranch and pioneer families of the area.
Then Yampatika's expert Geologist will explore the glacial valley through the lens of Yampa Valley's exceptionally rich geologic past as the group hikes out to the historical sites.
Our last stop, Historic Routt County will shed light on the iconic Mad Creek Barn while the group has a chance to eat and take in the views!
Thank you our partners Historic Routt County and Tread of Pioneers Museum!
